چکیده
Polymeric dyes are composed of optically chromophoric groups bound to or into polymers 1 which offer the advantage of allowing a range of physical properties, such as solubility, absorption, migration, and viscosity, that are tunable. They do not sublime, are nonabrasive, and generally have low toxicity. The range of products possible offered by the joining of the fields of polymer chemistry and color chemistry is virtually inexhaustible 2,3 . They have been widely applied on the fiber because of certain essential dye properties such as fast leveling, fastness to light and wet treatment, low sublimation rate, and very good thermal and chemical resistance. In this paper, a review is given about application of polymeric dyes in textile fields.

The scientific literature contains some valuable information about the applicability of polymeric materials, such as ion exchange resins or cellulosic materials in removal of harmful, pollutants organic compounds (i.e. dyes) from aqueous medium, probably due to their advantages related to ease of use in dynamic systems with increased adsorption efficiency, the possibility of being employed in s...
متن کاملFluorescent nanoparticles based on a microporous organic polymer network: fabrication and efficient energy transfer to surface-bound dyes.
Well-defined nanoparticles composed of a tetraphenylmethane-based microporous polymer network with an average particle diameter of 30-60 nm were fabricated by a miniemulsion polymerization technique. Strong green emission was observed and efficient excitation energy transfer from nanoparticles to surface-bound dye molecules was explored.

متن کاملColorant Materials, Additives in Plastic Technology
Pigments and dyes are coloring substances, i.e., substances imparting a specific color to the substrate being colored (Carolin et al. 2015). Pigments and dyes are distinctly different types of colorants. A pigment is a finely divided solid which is essentially insoluble in its polymeric application medium. Pigments are incorporated by a dispersion process into the polymer, while it is in a liqu...
